I do not remember having sipped tea in the mountains in a cup. It has always been in a glass. As you are walking around, exploring various things, each sighting of a chai shop is a delight. It also presents an opportunity to chat up with some locals about their lives and their issues. Most of these chai shops also offer a choice of local biscuits, khari and some other stuff that goes well with the chai.
