I visited well known artist Paritosh Sen several times at his Kolkata home as I was on a mission to select some of his paintings for a client. Whatever work I saw was certainly very interesting.

When I met him, he was already established as a very senior artist and his paintings were valued quite well. It was nice to see that his home was done up with good taste and he hardly seemed ostentatious. Books were plenty and all around. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that he contributed generously to charities working for street children of Kolkata.
