I visited Kaniyakumari in 1975 with my parents and sister. I was in Class VIII then. Have a clear memory of the visit to Vivekananda Memorial on the rock in the sea to where Swami Vivekananda swam and meditated. This is another place of pilgrimage every Indian must undertake and experience what it is like to be at the far end of Indian peninsula which is the meeting point of three seas - Indian Ocean, Arabian Sea and Bay of Bengal.

Another visual etched in my memory from that trip is this visual of twilight which I was fortunate to be able to capture with my basic box camera - Kodak Brownie 127.
